Evolution of Smart Buildings: From Connected to Cognitive

The concept of Smart Buildings has been evolved from time to time that it used to refers only to buildings connected with Building Management System (BMS) / Properties Management System (PMS), towards now the top tier Smart Buildings often aim to be cognitive (self-aware). To make buildings cognitive, there are additional features to be implemented include end-to-end IoT solutions with sensors, digital twin, predictive maintenance, self-learning mechanism, etc. In this session, we will discuss what these features actually do, and how various AWS services can help to complement the process of building a Smart Building with these features discussed.
